Telix 3.1x Salt Script Library 3.0
This library is a collection of Telix 3.1x script files that I have
either either created or collected and modified to suit my needs. They
are released as is for public use. Any damages resulting from use or
misuse of these script files is the sole responsibility of the user.
In order to use these files, they must first be checked for necessary
modification points and then compiled with the Telix Salt Compiler, CS.EXE.
Please refer to the Telix documentation set for compiler and salt sript
information.
The Telix scripts, RBBSN3 & 4, are the result of one of my users',
George McNamara, requests for help in automating downloading of Echomail
messages in unattended fasion.
They each three loops to check for prompts and work quite well
in sample situation testing. RBBSN3 is the old SMLnet Echomail door
login, and RBBSN4 is the Silver Xpress echomail door login.
Either script automatically logs in with your password, stored in your
dialing directory entry, along with this script name. It puts
the name of the BBS from that entry onto the Status Line where the
"ALT-Z for Help" message normally resides. It also calls DSZ (needed
for use in this script, unless you change to a different protocol)
and does the download.
Timing of the various loops may have to be adjusted for the
different situations. I have tried to optimize them.
Have fun and enjoy. Any comments, or additions, should be forwarded
to Jim Wargula at JW-PC DataFlex.HST, (608)837-1923, 8:972/2 or 1:121/8
